How Do I Connect to a Jira Instance Behind a Firewall?
Overview
Connecting to Jira behind a firewall is fully supported with HelpDesk+!
If you CAN allowlist our IP addresses on your firewall, you can use HelpDesk+ in the cloud.
If you CAN'T allowlist, you can self-host via docker using our enterprise edition solution.
Allowlisting
When you allowlist our static IP address, you allow API calls from our systems hosted in AWS to connect to your Jira instance.
All communication is API-based over HTTPS / SSL (encrypted).
We use OAuth to secure our API calls.
All Jira permissions are respected automatically.
We host with AWS in the East region by default but also offer localized hosting options.
Our secure cloud solution is SOC-II Type 2 and HIPAA compliant. Learn more about our security.
Our Static IP Addresses:
34.194.199.171
34.236.19.214
52.6.115.168
54.83.165.114
Self-Hosting via Docker
If you can't allowlist and utilize our solution in the cloud, you may be a good fit for our enterprise edition hosted in a docker container.
Our software will be hosted in a docker container that we will help you install and configure internally.
A master software agreement (MSA) is required to protect our IP in the docker container.
No data is ever sent to our cloud and all support is performed remotely.
Please set up a meeting with us to discuss our enterprise edition solutions.
