Create your integration

To connect Cursor to the Flow AI Tool dashboard, you will need an Admin API key from your Cursor organization.

  1. In Cursor, open your org settings and go to API Keys.

  2. Click New API Key.

  3. Give it a recognizable name (for example, Flow AI Tool).

  4. Copy the key immediately and store it securely. Cursor will not show the full key again.

  • Treat the API key like a password. Do not share it in Slack, tickets, or screenshots.

  • If the key is ever exposed, revoke it in Cursor, generate a new one, and update Flow with the new key.

Once your Cursor API key is copied and secured, you can now use it to connect Cursor to Flow.

  1. Click Settings in the top navigation.

  2. In the left navigation under Integrations, click Integrations.

  3. Click Add integration.

  4. Click Cursor in the Integration Provider list.

  5. Paste the API key in the Admin API key field.

Add cursor integration field.
  1. Click Test connection. If the connection was successful, you'll see the success message.

  2. Click Next.

  3. Name your integration. This is the name Flow will display for the integration. Choose a name that will help you identify the integration later.

  4. Once you've completed all sections, click Create.

When you have successfully integrated Flow with Cursor, you can go to Reports > Dashboards > AI activity dashboard to view the Cursor report.
