Create teams based on Jira teams
Functionality unavailable
The current Forge API doesn't support the same Jira team synchronization you experienced on the Connect version of the app. We are actively working with Atlassian and exploring internal solutions to restore this functionality as soon as possible.
Initial setup
The setup is described on the following page: Jira Teams.
Add Jira teams to a box
In the Teams module:
Click the + button.
Select Create new team based on Jira team
Select a Jira Cloud team and fill out the required fields.
Click Create.
Result: new team appears on the list.
Memberships and availability of team members are managed as normal.
Using the same Jira team in multiple boxes
You can’t create multiple box teams based on a single Jira team:
You can assign the same BigPicture team to multiple boxes.
Synchronization
Synchronization of BigPicture teams with Jira teams has to be triggered manually.
In a Teams module of a box:
Click Synchronize
Select Synchronize with Jira Cloud Teams.
