Task grouping

A task can be simultaneously displayed in multiple groups

Now, the same task can be displayed multiple times when grouping is turned on. It enhances the workflow when a given field has multiple values assigned. For example, if the same task is assigned to two different components, sprints, or fix versions, it will be listed under each group.

Filters

The box custom filters panel is available in the Overview module

Under the Filters button, you can find two filters:

• Date range filters

• Custom filters panel

The fields in Custom filters are derived from the current Column Views.

Exceptions: attributes that have their own filters won’t be included in the ‘custom’ panel

• Favorites - filter is turned on/off using the ‘star’ icon

• Archived - in the ‘View’ adjustment menu (eye icon) there is a checkbox that controls visibility of the archived boxes

If a column view is modified and a field in the filter is no longer available, that field should be removed from the filter while the existing fields will remain intact.

Task Custom filters panel is available in all the task-focused modules

Task custom filters panel is available in the following modules:

• Gantt

• Scope

• Board

• Resources

• Calendar

• Risks

Unavailable for:

• Teams

• Reports

• Objectives

You can filter by empty values in the task custom filters panel

In the task Custom filters panel, you can specifically search for tasks for which a given field is empty.
