Overview

Adding the Docs+ bot to relevant channels within your Slack workspace is essential to getting the most out of the platform.

Prerequisites

• The bot must be added to each channel that will receive notifications.

Adding the Bot to a channel by invitation

1. Navigate to the channel you want Docs+ to use for notifications.

2. Type @Docs Plus.

3. Choose Add to Channel.

4. In the message the bot posts to the channel, click Connect Space or Page.

5. Select the spaces, pages, or blogs whose notifications will be sent to this channel.

6. Click Save.

Adding the Bot to a channel using the application tab

1. Navigate to the Messages tab of the Docs Plus application.

2. Click Connect Space or Page from the first message.

3. Select the channel you want the bot to join.

4. Select the spaces, pages, or blogs whose notifications will be sent to this channel.

5. Click Save.
