Install the Connector in Jira DC

Install the Connector for Salesforce and Jira in your Jira DC instance, ensuring a seamless setup for integrating the two platforms.

Before you strat

• You must be an administrator of the Jira DC instance.

• System and platform requirements for Jira DC

Installation

1. Log into your Jira instance as an admin.

2. Go to Settings > Add-ons.
   The Find new add-ons screen displays.

3. Locate Connector for Salesforce & Jira via search.

4. Select the app when it appears in the results list.

5. Click Free trial to begin a new trial or Buy it now to purchase a license for Connector for Salesforce & Jira.
   You will be prompted to log into MyAtlassian. Connector for Salesforce & Jira begins to download.

6. Enter your information and click Generate license when redirected to MyAtlassian.

7. Click Apply license.

Next steps

Once you’ve installed Connector on Jira, switch to Salesforce and Install the Salesforce Package. Installing the Salesforce Package allows the Connector on your Jira instance to interface with Salesforce properly.
