How to use a space as a template with set macros

You may want to use a space as a template and then use our Copy Page Tree to recreate it as a new space easily. You can have Macros already set up and ready to go. 

Macro location

  1. If you have macros in there that point to a location to work

    1. If in-space is optional, we recommend leaving it blank

    2. If they are pointed at a static or absolute space name. That space name must NOT be the template, or you will have to rename it once copied

    3. If you do want to point it at a space, we recommend that you point it at a local or adaptable space name such as "current space," which will change to whatever you name the new space

  1. A native Macro that can be used in this manner is "Content by label"
