Can you automatically reset approvals after a page edit in order to ensure that all changes are approved?
Scenario
You have assigned some people to review a page, and someone has approved the page, but the page is updated according to others' opinions.
Now, you want these people who have made the approval decision to review the page again without changing the page status.
Question
Could approvals be automatically reset after a page edit to ensure that all changes are approved?
Solution
This behavior for approvals in each space can be set in Space tools > Document Management > Configuration
For the Page Update Reset Approval option:
Choose Reset from the dropdown menu option
When this option is set to Reset, if an approval (content review) is in progress and the content is edited
Any existing Approve or Reject decisions are reset, but the workflow state does not change
The default setting for the space is based on the global configuration for the Page Update Reset Approval, and by default, is Ignore.
