Release notes 7.12.0
Release date: Sep 4, 2025
Our team is thrilled to announce the latest release of Comala Document Management Data Center.
Confluence Data Center compatibility: v8.5.16 - 9.5.4
Enhancements
New metadata report
A metadata CSV report option has been added to the Workflow Usage report options in global administration to support audit and validation.
The downloadable report provides a list of all the existing page parameters and metadata set by either the Comala Document Management app or the Comala Metadata app in all the spaces in the instance. The report includes the metadata name and metadata value for each page and blog post.
Migration to Confluence Cloud updates
Support for multi-transfer of app related data
The cloud migration now splits the app-related data to be migrated in different transfers that are processed in parallel when possible. This increases the the speed of the migration.
Migration includes global workflow templates
Global workflows are now included in the migration together with space workflows. Global workflows are migrated to the app global workflows screen in Confluence Cloud. Also, global workflows are linked to the spaces.
Previously global workflows linked in each space were translated and migrated as space workflows.
A migration to cloud undertaken with this release or later require you to have the latest version of the CCMA app.
Bug fixes
The following issues were fixed in this release:
Anonymous users were shown a login form when trying to access the document actions report. Since they don’t have permission, the report is now hidden from them
The workflow builder was not being displayed correctly when using a theme from the Refined app
State due dates were not stored correctly when they were empty. The wrong value was also stored when minutes were set in the due date
Anonymous users were incorrectly displayed in the page activity report
A user was unable to select a space in the onboarding option when the instance included a large number of spaces. A user must now provide the space name in a search option in onboarding dialog box to view suggestions for space selection
The global Content Restrictions Report did not include information for spaces that only had global workflows enabled in the space
Migration to Confluence Cloud bug fixes
The following migration issues were fixed in this release:
User and group parameter values were not being mapped to their cloud equivalents
Space level workflow parameters (string, due date and list type parameters) whose value had been changed from their default value did not have their modified value after migration to the cloud
