Migration to cloud updates
Important: DC to Cloud Migration Compatibility Changes – June 2026
On June 30, 2026, Appfire will introduce a new DC-to-Cloud migration architecture aligned with Atlassian’s Forge platform. This architecture is not backwards compatible, and any migration tests performed with Comala Document Management DC versions below 9.0.0 will be invalid once customers opt into the Forge-based cloud version. You can check more details in our documentation.
We realize that some customers may be in the process of testing and migrating from DC to Cloud. If that is the case, we urge you to contact us to register your migration so we can work with you to recommend an approach to minimize impact to your current plans.
If you plan on starting your migration testing and production move on or after July 1, 2026 please opt into the Forge application, once available, and download Comala Document Management 9.0.0 (or higher) in your DC environment before starting to test.
While we are making every effort to ensure that your DC-to-Cloud migration is not impacted by the move to the Atlassian Forge platform, thorough testing remains the best way to guarantee a successful production migration.
