Assigning reviewers
Overview
In content reviews you can assign, reassign and unassign reviewers.
Look for the + Add reviewer button next to the Approve and Reject buttons.
Assigning a reviewer
In the Review state:
Choose the status indicator circle
When the approval state dialog box appears, select + Add reviewer button
A search screen is displayed to let you search and select one or more users and add them as reviewers.
Type inside the search bar to find the user to assign, you can search by full name, username, or email address or select from the contributors suggested by the app.
When you have found the user you are looking for, click the check box on the right to assign them to the review:

You have the option of recording the role performed by the approver (which is recorded in the page activity report).
If you need to leave a note for the reviewer, use the 'add a note' text box. The user sees this in a notification and an email.
After typing or selecting a role, choose Enter or click outside the text box before clicking the blue Assign button.
To save the assignment of the reviewer, click the blue Assign button.
The selected assignee is added to the approval state dialog box:
If you are viewing the page and have been assigned to the review, you also see a change in the status indicator circle. This is displayed as a filled circle indicating you are assigned to undertake the approval. The approval decisions buttons are displayed for all other users who are not assigned as a reviewer.
Unassigning reviewers
To reassign or unassign reviewers, return to the assignment search screen in the approval dialog box. Choose the + plus button, or the reviewer avatar.
Unassign
Move the pointer over the grey tick check box and it turns to blue
Click it
Choose the Unassign button to remove the reviewer
Without a reviewer assigned, the approval can be undertaken by any user with edit permission for the page or blog.
