JWT authentication failed error in Confluence Cloud and Salesforce Connector

Problem

You're seeing a "JWT Authentication Failed" error message and can't access or configure your app in Confluence Cloud.

Solution

This error occurs when your app installation becomes corrupted, which prevents proper authentication with Confluence Cloud.

How to fix it:

1. Contact Atlassian Support

   • Reach out to Atlassian Support

   • Request support to:

     • Uninstall the app

     • Remove of all data associated with the previous installation

2. Reinstall the app
   Once Atlassian Support confirms that the app and associated data have been completely removed:

   • Go to the Atlassian Marketplace.

   • Reinstall the Confluence Cloud and Salesforce Connector.

   • Reconfigure the app to restore its functionality.
