Interact with AI Agent to generate a report
The Reports & Timesheets AI Agent chat interface displays a few prompts to get started. Check out the points below to get started with the AI Agent.
You can choose from the suggested prompts to start interacting with the agent or provide your own prompt.
AI Agent can create all types of reports provided by Reports and Timesheets for the Jira app and can apply grouping, filtering, and sorting on reports. To learn more about the report interface and report types, refer to the Report Designer interface overview.
Based on your prompts, the AI agent generates reports.
Once the report is generated, click Open report to view it. The report opens in a new tab.
To make any further changes, continue the chat and provide the prompts.
Each time you continue the chat and request a report, the AI Agent generates a new report—it does not update or modify any previously created or opened reports.
The Open report action does not save the report. To save the report, click Save.
The AI-generated reports are not always accurate. Make sure to verify the reports.
