Our team is thrilled to announce the latest release of Assets and Inventory Plugin for Jira Cloud.
Enhancements
Improved validation and rollback for asset creation via REST API
We’ve added stricter validation checks for asset creation through the REST API when using select-type attributes. Previously, you could create assets with invalid or empty select attribute values, leading to issues where those assets couldn’t be viewed or deleted.
The system now validates select attribute values before asset creation to prevent malformed data. This ensures system integrity, avoids broken asset records, and improves the experience when managing assets through the API.
