Our team is thrilled to announce the latest release of the Assets and Inventory Plugin for Jira Cloud.
Enhancements
Support for inline asset field editing on issue view
Atlassian has updated the behavior of the issue view to render fields inline by default, phasing out the legacy modal experience. We’ve updated our Asset custom field to align with this change and ensure a smooth transition.
If you prefer the modal experience, Atlassian now recommends using the Modal component for UI Kit fields and the Modal bridge API for Custom UI fields. The temporary isInline property will be removed by August 1, 2025.
