This article explains how to create bulk projects in Jira using Jira Command Line Interface (CLI).

Instructions

  1. Create a CSV file with required data filled into the columns project, name, lead and template as shown in the following screenshot:

  2. Combine the actions runFromCsv and createProject to create bulk projects in Jira.

    --action runFromCsv --file "bulkProjects.csv" --common "--action createProject"



It is recommended to test this scenario in a test environment before implementing it in production.
