This macro implements the LaTeX inline math mode. Formulas or symbols that are part of a paragraph are written inline math mode (e.g. "\tau").

To work with LaTeX Math Inline, you must install the LaTeX Math application. For more information, see Installation.

LaTeX Math Inline

In the LaTeX formatted math, enter the equation.

For example: (a+b)^2=a^2+b^2+2ab. Preview is automatically rendered.

You can paste AsciiMath or MathML to have it converted to Latex automatically.

Creating LaTeX Math Inline Macro

To create a LaTeX Math Inline, Perform the following steps:

  1. Create a new page or go to Edit the page where you want to create an equation.

2. Type / or click the + icon.

3. Select LaTeX Math Inline and Click Insert. The Insert 'LaTeX Math Inline' Macro window is displayed.

4. Enter the equation in the box.

5. Click the Insert button.

Editing LaTeX Math Inline Macro

To edit a LaTeX Math Inline perform the following:

You must be in the Edit mode to edit a macro. 

  1. Click the (blue star) icon. The Edit 'LaTeX Math Inline' Macro window is displayed.

2. You can change the parameter and then click the Save button.

Deleting LaTeX Math Inline Macro

To delete a LaTeX Math Inline, select the macro and click the (blue star) remove icon. The macro is deleted.

You must be in the Edit mode to delete a macro.
