Invalid URL format while setting up TFS4JIRA Cloud Native

Unable to add Azure Connection due to an invalid URL format.

First, it is important to confirm that the AzureDevOps instance URL is a Cloud environment and not a server URL. If the URL is from an Azure DevOps server, the TFS4JIRA Self-Hosted app should be used instead of the TFS4JIRA Cloud-native app.

If the AzureDevOps instance is Cloud, then ensure that the new URL format is being used.

  • https://dev.azure.com/{organization} (new)

  • https://{organization}.visualstudio.com (legacy)
