This article explains how we can ensure that the reports created by any user can be accessed further by other users if the creator of the AIO Report is removed/inactive.

Instructions

  1. Log in to JIRA. Ensure you have an AIO report created if not you can create a report by following the page Creating Reports

  2. Navigate to AIO Reports > My Area > My Reports. You will get a list of all reports owned by you.`

  3. Click on the Shares option and provide permission to users/team to whom you want to share the report with/without Editable permission as shown in the below screenshot:

  4. Other users (whom the report is shared) can log in and check the shared report by navigating AIO Reports > My Area > My Reports > Shared Reports.

  5. If the creator of any report is inactive/removed then the report can be further accessed as below.

    1. User(whom the report is shared) with edit permission by the creator can edit/copy the report by navigating AIO Reports > My Area > My Reports > Shared Reports → Choose Report → Actions → Edit/Copy and use it further as required.

    2. User(whom the report is only shared) without Edit permission by the creator have to copy the report by navigating AIO Reports > My Area > My Reports > Shared Reports → Choose Report → Actions → Copy and then use that copied report further.

Please note that the admin can not change the ownership of the report. Hence, make sure reports are shared by creator with the required permission for further use.
