Creating support requests in HelpDesk+ for Teams can be done through various methods. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to initiate a support request using different approaches:

  • Create request through message action

  • Create a request through chatting with bot directly

  • Create request through compose action

  • Create request through issue type card

  • Create request through personal bot chat tab

  • Create a request button on personal bot "My Requests" tab

  • Create a request channel tab

Message Action

  1. In the Chat or Channel select a message you want to turn into a support request

  2. Select the three dots button 

  3. Click on the "Create Request" button

Create a Support Request by simply chatting with the bot

  1. Navigate to the chat icon

  2. Type "create request"

  3. Select from the following suggested support requests or select "Not seeing the ticket you need?"

Compose Action

  1. Navigate to the chat 

  2. Click on the three dots button located below the message input field

  3. Select the HelpDesk+ Icon

  4. Select the “create request” button 

Issue Type card

  1. Navigate to the chat 

  2. Click on the three dots button located below the message input field

  3. Click on the Helpdesk+ Icon

  4. Search for specific issue type or write “support”

  5. Once the correct issue type is displayed, click on the issue type card

  6. Fill out the required fields and then click “submit”

Create a Request - Personal Bot Chat Tab

  1. Navigate to the chat where you want to initiate the support request

  2. Click on the Create a Request button at the top of the application

  3. Complete the necessary fields

  4. Click on the Create button

Create a Request - Personal Bot "My Requests" Tab

  1. Navigate to the chat 

  2. Click the My Requests tab at the top of the application

  3. Click on the "Create Request" button

  4. Fill out the required fields

  5. Click the submit button

Create a Request in Channel Tab

  1. Navigate to the channel where you want to create your request

  2. Select the + icon at the top of the application

  3. Select Helpdesk+

Note: You must be an admin to create requests in the channel tab
