What's New

Our New Perspectives

The Agile Ranking and Agile Backlog now allow users to view issues compared to different perspectives.

A perspective allows you to rank and plan your issues on a matrix comprised of two different variables. In each matrix you see all your relevant data in a meaningful relationship: Urgency vs Importance, Value vs Effort and Severity vs Probability.

Comala Agile Ranking now includes three Agile perspectives: the Importance Matrix, the Priority Matrix, and the Risk Matrix.

You will find all the information about these perspectives here.

Sprint Velocity/Limit Calculator

Sprints now include a velocity indicator. It uses a simplified approach to give you a quick visual estimate, calculating the average velocity of the last three sprints. The calculation takes into account the completed story points of the last three sprints i.e.,  (sprint 1 + sprint 2 + sprint 3) / 3

The sprint indicator changes the color depending on your planned and estimated issues:

  • Grey: the sprint is under 75% of the average velocity
  • Yellow: the sprint is between 75% and 100% of the average velocity
  • Red: the sprint is over the average velocity

Now, when you group by epic link in the Agile Backlog, the issues are sorted and grouped by the epic rank you set in the Agile Ranking screen.
