Planning Poker is direct competitor of Agile Poker. Planning Poker is the digital version integrated with Jira of the card game Planning Poker, which everyone is familiar with. While Agile Poker is enterprise solution integrated with Jira project and board and flexible enough to match demand for big clients.

Planning Poker does not work in the context of a specific project or board. It is global. It has three entry points. Clicking on each of them will take you to the same page. This means that whenever you create a Planning Poker game and add it to the list, the whole instance and any team working with Planning Poker will see this game as they all will land on the same page. For Agile Poker, this is different. Each project and board has its own games.

Estimation field – Specify the estimation field, which is the destination for your estimates. Difference from Agile Poker is that here you can estimate text fields and comments, so it’s more flexible in regards to what can be estimated. Agile Poker mostly deals with fields that were selected to track board velocity, these are numeric or time fields only.

In Agile Poker, you have a list of all the issues on the Backlog section. In Planning Poker, you specify the project first.
