Objective

This guide aims to display your Google Drive content on a Confluence page in a brief step-by-step guide using the Drive macro.

An administrator must have already set up this add-on in your Confluence instance before a user is able to use it.

Embedding a Google Drive File

  1. In the Confluence page edit mode, create a Drive macro.

  2. In the window, click Browse.

  3. You may be requested to log in to your Google account. After logging in, the Google file selection window will appear.

  4. Click Select or double-click on the file you want to embed in the Confluence page.

  5. Adjust the Height (in pixels) or Width (in percentage) of the embedded document, then click Save.

  6. Publish the page, then the document from your Google Drive will be embedded on the Confluence page.

Embedding a Google Drive Folder

  1. In the Confluence page edit mode, create a Drive macro.

  2. In the window, click Browse.

  3. You may be requested to log in to your Google account. After logging in, the Google file selection window will appear.

  4. Click the Folders tab to display your folders.

  5. Click Select or double-click on the folder you want to embed in the Confluence page.

  6. Adjust the Height (in pixels) or Width (in percentage) of the embedded document, then click Save.

  7. Publish the page and the document from your Google Drive will be embedded on the Confluence page.
