How to view, create and associate Jira Issues from Salesforce by switching the Jira connection?

This feature is only supported in LWC (Lightning Web Component).

Viewing Jira Issues in Salesforce 

  1. In a Salesforce object, you will see a dropdown option to choose the Jira site connection. Choose the Jira connection of your choice. 


    The dropdown will not show if the Salesforce instance has only one Jira connection. To check the connections, read this documentation

  2. Switching the connection will switch the content within the panel. A tick symbol indicates which Jira connection issues you are currently viewing. 



Creating and associating Jira Issues in Salesforce

  1. In the Salesforce object, click the Associate/Create button.
  2. Click the Select a Connection dropdown to choose your Jira connection.

  5. The created and associated Jira Issue will appear in the relevant Jira connection panel that you can view in the Salesforce object page.
