Jira administrators can define a link from the original issue to the cloned issue for clone operations

Do you want to define a link from the original issue to the cloned issue for your clone operations? This is now possible with our latest version of of Clone Plus for Jira Cloud.

On the Clone operations > Create clone operation > Properties page, you can use the new Link drop-down list to select the link which you want from the original issue to the cloned issue while cloning an issue. By default, the is cloned by option is selected.

Once you have selected the required link while creating a clone operation, your users can clone an issue with the selected link. If the required link is not selected for a clone operation, by default the issue will be cloned using the is cloned by link option.

You can select any link available on the Settings ⚙️ > Issues > Issue linking page, for example, blocks, clones, duplicates, is blocked by, is cloned by, relates to, is reviewed by, and so on.

With this new feature, the mapping field values Set link type and Set link direction are now supported for migration from server/DC to cloud.
