This article explains how to fix insufficient permission issue when copying a Space.
Issue Description
Copying the space while selecting the permission option as “Use the original space's permissions“, in some cases, the default permissions might not be set properly. As a result, this may cause insufficient permission issues to occur as shown in the below screenshot:
Steps for Resolution
To address and resolve the insufficient permission issue, Follow the steps provided below:
Go to the Global permission i.e. ☸️ → Setting → Global Permission and make sure that the user has both Personal Space and Create Space permissions.
Copy the space by selecting the permission option “Use Confluence’s default space permissions“.
