At the first view, there are not many changes in SIL Excel Reporting plugin at version 2.0. However, under the hood SIL Excel Reporting now benefits from all the goodies KATL-Commons v.4.0 bring and therefore there are major changes in this add-on as well. We will try to highlight a few here:
- You are now free to use in SIL Excel Reporting datasources you defined at the KATL-Commons level
- The editor has been changed, and we hope you will like it
- Additional tables we used are now migrated to the Atlassian Active Objects standard mechanism. This means no more taking an extra step at restores (previously you had to install the add-on before restore). Old tables are migrated and after that, deleted automatically from the JIRA database.
- SIL has received some performance boost and we hope you will see it in action
