What is the CMJC-CreateSharedObjects group?
The CMJC-CreateSharedObjects is a temporary group created by Configuration Manager for Jira Cloud. It’s used to give the user doing the deployment all the necessary permissions to transfer all the included configuration elements. When the deployment is complete, the group is deleted.
Why can’t CMJC create the CMJC-CreateSharedObjects group?
It’s possible you get an error that states the analysis failed because Configuration Manager for Jira Cloud couldn’t create the CMJC-CreateSharedObjects group. This isn’t a problem with the app but rather an issue caused by some set Atlassian settings. If this problem consistently shows up when making deployments, we recommend you open a bug report with Atlassian. Also, be sure to show them the error message you get from CMJC for an easier investigation.
Workaround
After you get the Analysis failed error, you can try to create the CMJC-CreateSharedObjects group yourself. Afterward, you can retry the deployment, and everything should work as usual. However, keep in mind that the group gets deleted after the deployment, so you’ll need to create it every time you do a deployment and get this error.
