You can add multiple asset custom fields to any screen you want for JIRA Core, Jira Software, JIRA Service Management, and the JSM customer portal. Then, you can filter its content by asset type(s) or saved filters.
Prerequisites
You must be a Jira administrator to add additional asset fields.
To Create an Asset Custom Field:
Go to Settings > Issues > Custom Fields.
Click Create custom field. The Select a Field Type popup appears.
Click Advanced > External assets platform.
Select Next.
Enter a name and optional description.
Select Create.
Select the screens you want this field to appear in.
Scroll down and click Update.
Now, the custom field will appear on the screens you’ve selected, and the users will be able to link assets to their requests in the Jira issue view. Keep in mind that you can link multiple assets on a single request by adding additional asset fields.
After creating the custom field, you can use the Contexts and default value > Filters to show related assets by selecting the specific asset type.
