Syntax:
issueInBacklog(issue key[, boardName])
Description:
Checks if the issue with the provided issue key is in the board's backlog or not.If you don't provide the board, we will try to look in all boards to see if issue is in a backlog.
Parameters:
Parameter name | Type | Required | Description |

issue key | string | Yes | The issue key |
boardName | string | No | The board name or id |
Return type:
boolean
True if issue is in backlog, false otherwise.
Example:
boolean result = issueInBacklog("AGILE-3"); // or boolean result = issueInBacklog("AGILE-3", "agileBoardName");
Notes:
- If there is no issue with that issue key, an exception will be raised.
- If no board is found, an exception will be raised.
- The user must have enough permissions to perform this action.
