This article explains how to add the values from a number list to a multi-line text field in the post function using the Create On Transition (CoT) app.

1. Log in to Jira as an administrator.
2. Click Projects from the top navigation bar and select the project that you want. If the required project is not visible in the drop-down, select View All Projects and select the required project.

3. Click Project Settings (bottom left of the project page).

4. Go to the Workflows section and click the icon adjacent to the relevant workflow.

5.  Click the transition to which you want to add a post function. As an example, add the post function for the In progress transition:

6. Select Post Functions, and then, click Add post function.

7. Select the Create Issue option, and then, click Add for providing values to the fields.

8. Under Issue fields, select Custom Fields from the left side panelsidebar.
   
9. Select the custom field and provide values to the filed. In the Values section, separate values with '\n' (newline character) as shown in the screenshot:
   
10. Click Add in the post function.
11. Click Publish to publish the workflow changes.
