Description
This page describes how provides details to clone an epic with all the associated child issues in from the same project. Instead of creating a new epic and all the child issues again, you can clone the epic using the Copy issue in epic clone option.

To clone an epic with all the child issues from the same project:
(Note: this example assumes that the 'Task' issue type is excluded from cloning)

Steps
Select an epic you want to clone in your Jira instance. For example, consider an epic with the child issues and subtasks in the zclonechrome project as shown in the below image.
In the top of the issue, click More > Clone+.
In the Clone page, select thevalues for the fields as required and clone options as shown in the below image:
Click Create.
The issue is cloned as configured and displayed. The parent epic is cloned to a new epic with the subtask and all the child issues cloned (except for the issue that had Task as the issue type). Refer to the following image:and subtasks.
