March 17, 2025: In certain situations, you may need to copy a page to another location. The Copy Page workflow trigger action lets you create a copy of a page as a child of the current page, a specific named page, or the homepage of a selected space. This feature enables you to separate public content from work-in-progress versions without requiring an additional app, track changes by maintaining different versions of a page, or generate similar pages for different projects or clients.

March 6, 2025: Two new workflow trigger actions to add Confluence page-level permissions for the users who you want to view or edit your document. The Add Restrictions action lets you add new page-level view or edit restrictions on a document. The Set Restrictions trigger action lets you clear either view or edit page-level permission limitations on a page before applying new restrictions of the same type.

You can also configure each label-related trigger action to add, remove, or clear labels from the immediate child pages of the page with the applied workflow. This new label automation reduces human error and eliminates page labeling inconsistencies, saving time and improving organization across documentation.

December 19, 2024: The new visual editor feature enables you to create and edit a workflow trigger using contextual menu options to select a trigger event, add a trigger condition, and define trigger actions. This enhancement simplifies creating triggers, making it more straightforward and user-friendly, reducing the need for prior experience with JSON code.

This new workflow trigger action introduces the ability to send a webhook request to an external URL. This will let you send automated messages using POST to the external address on a workflow event, include a name for the webhook, and, if required, include a payload.
