Answer This can be done by reordering them in the Issue Type Scheme configuration of your Project.  Go to  JIRA > Projects > your projects > Settings > Issue Type Then, in the top-right corner, click Actions > Select Edit issue types Now you can change the order by dragging the issue type in the  Issue Types for Current Scheme  section.
