SLAs do not transfer with issues. There is no system for directly transferring issue SLA data when using import/export.
Recalculation is required. After importing SLAs, you must recalculate them to see them on existing issues.
For high-volume SLA migrations, use Jira Cloud Migration Assistant. This ensures issue SLA history is retained during migration.

Import SLAs and calendars from Jira Service Management (JSM)
Navigate to Import/Export > Import JSM SLAs.
Select the SLAs you want to import, then click Next.
It is not possible to import calendars alone from JSM. At least one SLA must be selected to import calendars.
Create a new calendar for your calendars or select one of the existing ones.
If you skip the Map Calendars part and leave it empty, Time to SLA will recreate those calendars. For example, if you have five JSM SLAs and you migrate them separately while leaving the calendar section blank, you’ll end up with five calendars for each. This is why we recommend you select the calendars each time.
Click Import.
Wait for the import process to complete, and review the import results.
