Export search results for Jira Cloud

This section provides guidance on migrating assets from Jira Data Center/Server to Jira Cloud. It aims to ensure a seamless transfer of assets and eliminate manual tasks like adjusting headers and organizing data.

Prerequisites

  • Access to the Data Center/Server asset repository.

  • A properly configured Cloud environment.

Steps

  1. In the top navigation bar, select Asset Navigator.

  2. Refine your search according to your use case.

  3. Under the Export menu, select Export for Cloud. The configuration page displays.

  4. Select the delimiter, and click Download.

The system will generate a Cloud-compatible export file, ready for On-Premise to Cloud import.

Note

For a successful Data Center/Server to Cloud import:

  • Verify that the necessary asset types and attributes are pre-set in the Cloud environment. If they are already established, you can proceed directly with the import.

  • If you require assistance with import, raise a request through the Support portal.
