Actions can be attached to any workflow transition. The listener will be invoked by the issue event data.Easy Integrations allows you to seamlessly integrate actions into your workflow transitions. These actions are triggered through a listener, which responds to specific issue events.
This documentation will guide you through the process of configuring and using the "EI - Trigger a Listener of Easy Integrations" post function.
Step 1: Create an Easy Integrations Listener
First, create an Easy Integrations Listener with or without an event. And then just select Refer to this document to learn how.
Step 2: Select the Listener in the Post Function
Once you've created your Listener, you can attach it to a workflow transition as a post function. This will ensure that the listener is triggered during that transition. Here's how you can do that:
To add a post function to a transition:
Select Jira Settings > Issues.
Click Workflows and then Edit for the relevant workflow.
Select the transition:
In diagram mode, select the transition arrow.
In text mode, select the transition's name from the Transitions (id) column.
Open the post functions tab:
In diagram mode, click Post functions in the properties panel to show the triggers configured for the transition.
In text mode, select the Post functions tab.
Click Add post function.
Select "EI - Trigger a Listener of Easy Integrations" in the "Add Post Function To Transition" screen.

Choose Publish Draft to finalize your changes.
That’s it! You’ve successfully configured the action into your workflow transition.
