Consider a scenario where the user wants to clone an issue and copy the respective comments, links and attachments. This page explains the steps to accomplish the scenario.

Navigate to the intended issue. For example, consider the following issue with the highlighted issue link, Confluence page attachments, and comment to be cloned:

Perform the following:
Select the Clone Plus option from the Actions menu to set various fields for the clone action in the Clone Plus for Jira window.
Select the Clone operation, Project and Issue type as required. Also, select the following clone options to copy the respective issue details:
Copy attachments
Copy links
Copy comments
Click Clone to configure the other issue fields further as required.
Click Create to create the issue. You see the original issue cloned with the issue link, Confluence page attachments, and comment of the original issue copied as highlighted in:

This page provides the details to clone an issue along with the respective comments, links, and attachments.
Steps
Select an issue you want to clone in your Jira instance. For example, consider an issue with the comments,linked issues, and confluence page attachments as shown in the following image.
In the top-right corner, select Actions > Clone Plus option or select the Clone Plus quick-add button in any issue.
On the Clone Plus for Jira page, do the following:
Select the required values for Clone operation, Project, and Issue type.
In the Clone options section, select the following clone option:
Attachments
Links
Comments
Click Clone.
On the Create issue page, select values for all the issue fields as required.
Click Create.
A successful issue creation message is displayed and the parent issue is cloned with the comments,linked issues, and confluence page attachments.
