Creating

Create a ‘LaTeX Math Block Reference’ Macro

To create a LaTeX Math Block Reference macro, perform the following steps:

  1. Create a new page or Edit where you want to create an equation.

2. Type / or click the + icon.

3. Select LaTeX Math Block Reference and Click Insert. The ‘LaTeX Math Block Reference’ window is displayed.

4. Enter the following details:

a. Anchor name

b. Confluence page

5. The link is automatically generated. The link is of the following format:

In the LaTeX math reference macro,

  • Reference from a page to a blog post is supported.

  • Reference from one page to another page is supported.

However, you might not be able to view the equation on the math block preview mode for the following cases

  • Reference from a blog post to a page.

  • Reference from a blog post to another blog post.

Edit a ‘LaTeX Math Block Reference’ Macro

To edit a LaTeX Math Block Reference, do the following:

You must be in the Edit mode to edit a macro block reference. 

  1. Click the (blue star) icon. The LaTeX Math Block Reference window is displayed.

2. You can change any of the parameters that you want to change. The change is displayed automatically. Panel

Deleting

Delete a ‘LaTeX Math Block Reference’ Macro

To delete the LaTeX Math Block Reference, select the link and click the (blue star) remove icon. The link is deleted.

You must be in the Edit mode to delete a macro block reference.
