To create an "In Progress" Status Counter Custom Field

• Navigate to Jira Admin > Add-ons Manage Apps > Enhancer Plugin For Jira Menu > Custom Field Configuration and go to the Counter tabFields (JEP).
• Click on the Image Removedthe Image Added button.Fill in the dialog box:
  Image Removed
  Select 
• JEP - Click on the Counter tab on the left-hand side of the dialogue. 
• Click on "In Progress" Status Counter in the  then click Add custom field drop-down menu.

• Fill in the dialog box:
  Image Added
  
  • Create a name for the custom field.
    
  • The Status field field will automatically change to be set to In Progress. You can change it accordingly, and you can even select multiple statuses. 
    
• Click on the Add Save Custom Field button.

This custom field can be used to sort or search in issue navigator.
