Prerequisites

  1. You must have administrator access to Jira.

Step-by-step guide

Configure administrators

  1. Go to https://account.nextup.ai (or your custom URL if self-hosted).

  2. Go to Security under Workspace.

  3. Enable the Restrict Account Access toggle.

  4. Select the users who can manage channel configurations. Don Don't forget to add yourself (if applicable).

  5. Save settings.

  1. Instruct the user to log in to your their account at https://account.nextup.ai.

  2. The system tells users that access is restricted and allows them to request access.

  3. The user clicks to  and request access.

  4. The access request is confirmed.

Approve access requests in Slack

  1. A user requests access to your administrators' group.

  2. Your current administrators You will receive a message notification in Slack

  3. The administrators click the Allow button to allow access.

  4. We notify the when access is requested.

  5. Click Allow to allow access. A notification is sent to the requestor in Slack.

New users added via this process will be visible in the administration list for administrators.
