Time to SLA allows you to mute notifications set by the SLA notifier. Depending on your use case, you can mute notifications either by selecting issues or SLAs. You can also select both options.

How to Mute Notifications in the Issue View

  1. Go to the related issue, and click Time to SLA menu > Mute SLA.

  2. On the popup screen that will appear, select how long you want to mute notifications from the Mute Duration section. You can mute notifications until they are manually unmuted by your action or choose an end date to unmute them automatically.

  • Click Until Unmuted if you want to unmute the issue with an action later.

  • Click Custom to pick an end date. When this date is reached, the issue will be unmuted automatically.

  1. You can mute notifications by specifying issues. To do that, you have three options:

    • You can mute all notifications by selecting all issues.

    • You can mute notifications by selecting the issue keys. Only recently viewed issues are listed here. To populate the combo box, you can use the issuekey in issueHistory() order by lastViewed DESC statement, which will filter issues. You can also add an issue key via the Add item button.

    • You can mute notifications for issues filtered by the JQL statement you entered.

  2. You can mute notifications by specifying SLAs. To do that, you have two options:

    1. You can mute all notifications by selecting All.

    2. You can mute notifications by selecting specific SLAs.

  3. Click the Done button, and your configurations will be saved.

You can also mute notifications from your Profile page. The process is completely the same.

How to Edit a Muted Notification

  1. Open Profile, and find the configuration you want to edit.

  2. Click the Edit button at the end of the row.

  3. Fields will be automatically filled.

  4. Edit the configuration, and click Done to save.

  5. The table will be populated after your changes are saved.

How to Unmute a Notification

To access the page where you can unmute notifications, you have 3 options, which are:

1. The Profile page

To unmute a muted notification, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Time to SLA page on your Profile page.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page to see all of your muted SLA notification configurations.

  3. Find the one you want to unmute, and click Unmute.

  4. If you want to unmute multiple configurations, select the issues you want and click Unmute Selected button.

  5. You can also unmute all configurations by clicking the Unmute All button.
