Overview

You can issue commands directly to the Jira Integration+ bot in Microsoft Teams.

  • Commands and messages you send the bot are only visible by to you.

  • You can type "help" to the bot at any time anytime to get a reminder of the command syntax.

Add a comment to a ticket

  1. Type the keyword comment.

  2. Type a Jira issue key (i.e. DEMO-124).

  3. Enter your comment.

  1. Type the keyword search.

  2. Enter a phrase that's included in the ticket you are looking for.

Search by advanced (JQL)

  1. If you are writing your own query.

    1. Type the keywords jql search.

    2. Enter the JQL that you wish to use for the search command.

  2. If you are generating the JQL via Jira.

    1. Login Log in to Jira and go to Search Issues.

    2. Create your search via the basic or advanced tabs.

    3. Copy the JQL from Jira (if using the basic search you will need to switch to JQL).

    4. Type jql search and paste the JQL from the above previous step.
