Overview
This gadget displays the total number of users gained (or lost) of the set of apps of a given Atlassian Marketplace Partner account over a period of time, based on the sale type: New, refund, renewal or upgrade.
The count of users is an approximation made by adding the sizes of the licenses' tiers over a specific period of time and aggregated by the type of the sale: New, refund, renewal or upgrade.
For individual app users by type see App Users by Type
For server and data center licenses, the size of the tier is used, so it’s not a 100% precise number, for example, a 50 users server license is counted as 50 users, although it could be in a range of 25 to 50 users. As for cloud licenses, the number is more precise, since the tier indicates the exact number of users of the license.
Open source and community licenses and free apps are not taken into account due to lack of information

The gadget displays the four metrics: Users in New sales, Users in Refunds, Users in Renewals and Users in Upgrades.
