Box status

The Box box status determines whether you are able to can edit items assigned to that Box box and If whether the Actual Business Values column appears in the Objectives module.

You can set the status of each Box box as one of the following:

  • Not started (grey) - it will be executed in the future, so it is still in the planning phase,

  • In progress (blue) - it is currently in execution,

  • Closed (green) - it has already finished.

You can change the status , for in different ways. For example, you can right-click on a Box box when in the Overview module, right-click on the Box box in the Box box configuration > Tasks > Scope definition, or right-click on the box in the Objectives / Board modules.

Transitions 

All the The following transitions between statuses are allowed:

When you complete the work and want to close the Boxbox, you will be are prompted to decide what to do with the remaining open objectives , once it is already closed:

  • mark open objectives as failed and continue

  • mark open objectives as abandoned

  • do not modify the status of open objectives

All objectives previously After reopening the box, all objectives marked as " Failed " will remain in a given status after reopening the Box. These objectives will also be automatically cloned and added to the next Box box with the Open status "Open".

Closing an upper-level Box box means that all the sub-Boxes boxes of that Box box will also be also closed.
