The Linked Issues Custom Issue Field displays the number of linked (with specified link type) issues. And it is searchable: e.g. you can find issues which have more than 3 linked issues with 'causes' issue link typespecified field/custom field within the linked issue. 

To create a Linked

Issue Field 

• Navigate to to Jira Admin > Add-ons Manage Apps > Enhancer Plugin For Jira Menu > Custom Field Configuration and go to the Comment tabFields (JEP).
• Click on the Image Removed button.the Image Added button.
• Click on the Parent/Linked/Epic Issue tab on the left-hand side of the dialogue. 
• Select Linked Issue Field, then click Add custom field.

• Fill in the dialog box:
  Image RemovedImage Added
  
  • Create a Name for the field.
  • Select the issue link typeIssue Link Type.
  • Select Field/Custom Field.
• Click on the Add the Save Custom Field button.
  
• You can define as many comment fields Linked Issue Field as you want.

This custom field can be used to sort or search in issue navigator.
