This article explains how to access use the parameter "URL to Excel file" parameter in the app the Excel for Confluence app.

Instructions

  1. Log in as a Confluence Administrator and administrator.
  2. Navigate to Image Modified >   Add-ons  →  Find new apps and  and search for "Excel for Confluence". Ensure you have Excel for Confluence app installed in your Confluence instance.

  3. With Log in as any user log in to the confluence, go to the page in your Confluence instance and add an Excel file to a page as required.
  4. Right-click on the file and select Copy Link Address. Note that this address is different from the URL of the webpage.

  5. Insert and Edit the Excel macro.

  6. Enter the copied URL in the field "URL to Excel file" and provide the "URL user" and "URL user password" in the respective fields as shown below:
