This article explains how to add conditions to transitions in the Create on Transition app. Use comma (,) as a separator to specify multiple parameters in a condition.

Instructions

  1. Login as a Jira Administrator and click  > Issues  > Projects.
  2. Navigate to the intended transition Select the required project and click Project Settings > intended workflow > intended Transition
  3. Select the target transition and add the Create Sub-Task post function
  4. Select Conditions and Configurations.
  5. Configure the post function with  Add operator in Condition for multiple custom fields. Below screenshot is for reference..
  6. Select the required workflow and click Edit to view the transitions associated with the workflow.
  7. Select a transition and click Post-Function from the box on the right. Details about the transition are displayed.
  8. Click Add post function. The Add Post Function To Transition screen appears.
  9. Select Create Sub-task from the list and click Add.
  10. Select Conditions & Configuration from the sidebar.
  11. Enter the parameters, separated with commas (,), in Condition 1.
  12. Enter the values, for the parameters specified in Condition 1, in Regular expression pattern as shown:

      6. Save the Post function and sample post function look below  . Click Add. The post function is shown as:

      7. Publish the workflow before performing the transition. You see that the issues The sub-tasks are created only when all conditions are if the specified condition is met.
