This article explains how to access use the parameter "URL to Excel file" from the app Excel parameter in the Excel for Confluence app.

Instructions

These instructions will help you to access the excel file from the URL.

1. Make sure Log in as a Confluence administrator.
2. Navigate to Image Added > Add-ons > Find new apps and search for "Excel for Confluence". Ensure you have Excel for Confluence app installed in your Confluence instance.

3. Log in as any user in your confluence instance.

1. Confluence instance and add an Excel file to a page as required.
2. Right-click the file and select Copy Link Address. Note that this address is different from the URL of the webpage.

3. Insert and Edit the Excel macro.

4. Enter the copied URL in the URL to Excel file field, and, provide the username and password in the URL user and URL user password fields respectively.Image Added

5. Save the macro settings and publish the page.
