In this section, you can set the default configuration of the Business Value value fields. When enabled, the Actual Business Value and Planned and Actual Business Valuefields appear next to the Objectives objectives defined in the Roadmap Objectives module.
The Business business value should not be confused with any other measures, such as the associated effort or total story points associated with an objective. The field values range from 0 to 10 and aren't synchronized with Jira.
The Once data is available, the Planned Business Value (PBV) of new objectives scored during the planning meeting can be later compared with the the Actual Business Value (ABV), once data is available. This is usually done during the "Inspect inspect and adapt " ceremonies.
The PBV vs versus ABV ratio can be calculated for each team's objectives and Main main objectives and it rolls up to the Team team and timebox level.
Keep in mind:
A
“Box type”box type contains the default settings applicable to multiple
Boxesboxes (all
Boxesboxes of a given type). Those settings are adjusted in box type administration.
Box configuration refers to the settings of a single, individual
Boxbox. They are dependent on the
“Box type”box type settings.

Changing Please note that changing the configuration might disable (hide) settings or features in the Box Configuration box configuration (of an individual Boxbox) and within different modules.
